A remarkable joint effort by the doctors, nurses, allied healthcare workers, pharmacists and staff of the Estates department at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend has resulted in the development of a 43-bedded specialist Respiratory High Care Unit.
Visitors have had their first look inside the state-of-the-art Macmillan and National Garden Scheme (NGS) palliative care unit in Llantrisant at a special opening event.
