Due to Storm Dennis there has been significant rainfall across Cwm Taf Morgannwg. We are thinking of everyone who has been affected by this weather and urge everyone to take care and stay safe.
We’re very grateful for people volunteering to drive staff in 4x4s but please be reassured we have enough vehicles for our community teams and would ask that people do not put themselves at risk by making unnecessary journeys.
There are a number of roads closed and some villages are inaccessible so staff, relatives and visitors are asked to stay indoors and only travel if absolutely necessary. Please check roads are open and safe before you make any journeys.
Ysbyty Cwm Cynon in Mountain Ash is now accessible, please take care.
Porth Dental Unit will be closed tomorrow due to flooding. Text messages have been sent out to the patients with routine appointments. The unit will accept and triage calls. If you need advice please don’t visit the unit, but ring instead.
