Cambrian ward was today (29 January) visited by the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales, Sarah Rochira as a result of the ward being identified as excellent practice by the Welsh Government in its last ‘trusted to care’ spot check.
The Commissioner spent two and a half hours this morning along with a team of staff from Cambrian Ward and witnessed the excellent care that staff provide to patients in the friendly, homely environment that surrounds such a vulnerable group of people.
Sarah Rochira said: “It was a real privilege to visit Cwm Taf and a pleasure to see the staff at work. Truly outstanding”.
