A state-of-the-art Macmillan palliative care unit is opening its doors at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital offering a warm, welcoming environment to people who need specialist palliative care.
The specialist palliative care team currently based in the Y Bwthyn unit at Pontypridd Cottage Hospital will be relocating to the new unit on the Royal Glamorgan Hospital site on 27th/28th September 2019.
Bereaved relatives whose loved ones were cared for in palliative care wards in the South Wales valleys can take home their loved one’s items in bags featuring a design by an artist thanks to Macmillan funding.
