NHS and Red Cross teams in A&E at Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend look back on two years of partnership

What started as a three months trial service with British Red Cross teams supporting in the emergency department at Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend, has helped more than 21,800 patients since December 2018.

A warm Welsh welcome greets overseas nurses

We are delighted to welcome a further 33 overseas nurses in addition to 27 nurses who joined Cwm Taf Morgannwg in September. The nurses, from India, have joined our team following a recruitment drive and are settling into their roles at our three acute hospitals after completing a period of quarantine.
