There will be a meeting of the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Board on Thursday, 30th January 2020 at 10.30am in Ynysmeurig House, Abercynon, regarding services within the health board.
Flu is circulating in Wales and people are being urged to do what they can to limit the spread of this potentially fatal disease. This includes remembering to ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ if they have symptoms of flu.
Staff gathered to celebrate the unit’s tenth anniversary and former colleagues were also amongst the invited guests to mark the occasion, namely Mr Eric Nash, a former consultant in oral surgery in Prince Charles Hospital and latterly post graduate dean, Alan Griffiths, former dental programme director.
Walking rugby is tackling social isolation and a range of health issues in Cwm Taf Morgannwg, with more than 100 players braving the cold to take part in a tournament in Clydach Vale.
