The school nursing teams will be visiting your child’s school on selected dates in the Spring term to vaccinate Year 9 against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio and Meningitis ACWY.
In January 2019 Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board physiotherapy staff teamed up with Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre to provide physiotherapy rehabilitation to patients in the community who need treatment for Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). ACL is one of the key ligaments that help stabilize your knee joint and one of the most beneficial treatments for this type of injury is strength testing.
Dr Sharon Hopkins, Interim CEO, said: “The South Wales Programme was a large-scale consultation designed to address major challenges faced by many hospitals in recruiting and retaining highly skilled staff in certain speciality areas.
There will be a meeting of the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Board on Thursday, 30th January 2020 at 10.30am in Ynysmeurig House, Abercynon, regarding services within the health board.
